Handmade Soothing Lavender, Rose and Chamomile Pillow

The delightful scents of lavender, rose and chamomile are well known to soothe and relax and there is scientific evidence for their therapeutic effects in reducing anxiety and promoting sleep.  I've combined these lovely aromatic herbs in this simple linen bag so they can be to hand when needed, whether for relaxation, to console, or to ease into sleep. 

* This soothing pillow is particularly comforting when used in combination with a hot water bottle and popped inside the cover so the warmth of it wafts the scent further.  People I know personally who've used them this way have also found they've brought solace when enduring treatment for serious medical conditions such as cancer.

* Alternatively, the herb pillows can be carried around in a bag for use as portable stress relief

* Place on or under a pillow at night to aid relaxtion and sleep

* Contains dried lavender buds, dried rose petals with scent enhanced with rose absolute in grapeseed oil, and dried chamomile flowers

* Once filled the open end is sewn shut by hand using blanket stitch with gold colour linen thread

* When the scent fades, the blanket-stitched end can be cut open, the herbs removed and refreshed with lavender, rose and chamomile oils, then all replaced in the bag and the bag sewn back up
